A letter countries Swift Code List


SWIFT value is a conventional structure of Financial institution Identifier Requirements (BIC) and it is exclusive recognition value for a particular bank.
These codes are used when shifting cash between financial institutions, particularly for worldwide cable exchanges. Banks also used the codes for trading other information between them.
The SWIFT value includes 8 or 11 figures. When 8-digits value is given, it represents the main workplace.

First 4 figures - financial institution value (only letters)

Next 2 figures - ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 nation value (only letters)

Next 2 figures - place value (letters and digits) (passive individual will have "1" in the second character)

Last 3 figures - division value, optionally available ('XXX' for main office) (letters and digits)

Currently, there are over 7,500 “live” SWIFT requirements. The "live" requirements are for the associates who are definitely linked with the SWIFT system. On top of that, there are more than 10,000 extra requirements, which are used for guide dealings. These extra requirements are for the inactive members.
The users of SWIFT Codes are managed by Community for Globally Interbank Economical Telecom (“SWIFT”) and their head office is situated in La Hulpe, The country.
